AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Over 600 Unemployed Doctors demanded recruitment who are jobless or forced to private practices due to no recruitment after 1998.

Recruitment is allegedly stopped for 24 years and the last recruitment was held in 1998, alleged the agitating Doctors in front of the Health Dept.

The employed Doctors also placed a deputation to the Health Director seeking recruitment. The Doctors have demanded recruitment in regular posts.
