AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): The murdered CPI-M party members have been cremated in the presence of State CPI-M leaders including Party State Secretary Jitendra Choudhury.
MLA Sudhan Das was also present during the cremation process.
Jitendra Choudhury informed that so far 23 party workers of CPI-M have died in last four years under BJP-IPFT Govt.
The CPI-M party held a protest against the barbaric murder of its party worker in Belonia.
A massive rally was organized in Agartala demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
On the other side, in Belonia, local people organized road blockade demanding arrest of the culprits.
The murder was allegedly done by BJP members under the leadership of 1) Joydeb Sarkar, a member of Belonia sub-division’s Raj Nagar Panchayat Samity, and another local BJP leader 2) Manik Sarkar.
However so far nobody was arrested which has erupted massive resentment among the locals.
