AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Another political murder has been reported as a consequence of violence in Northeast state Tripura.

The murdered man has been identified as Benu Biswas, a CPI-M worker.

The murder was allegedly done by BJP members under the leadership of 1) Joydeb Sarkar, a member of Belonia sub-division’s Raj Nagar Panchayat Samity, and another local BJP leader 2) Manik Sarkar.

The deceased was 40 years old, was beaten up in Kamalpur market of Belonia. Locals rushed Benu Biswas to the hospital and the on-duty Doctor declared him dead.
