AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): In the leftist Period it was discussed with the central government representatives that National Highway will be constructed by saving BKI Gallery. But it has been seen instead of saving the Century-old Gallery, the NH is making by demolishing the Gallery. Centering this CPI-M leader Badal Choudhury visited the Gallery today along with other opposition leaders and expressed huge resentment of demolishing the 125 Years historical BKI Gallery.

If the administrative officials had wanted, the National Highway could have been built by saving the gallery, but they did not go there and destroyed the school gallery, stated Choudhury.

Badal Choudhury said that he will take up the matter at South DM and besides the matter would also raised in the Tripura Assembly.
