AGARTALA Feb 8 (TIWN): Despite protests held several times by JMC, 10323 teachers, the Education Dept has failed to serve individual termination letters to the 10323 teachers.
Amid the increasing death rate of 10,323 teachers, no impact was seen on State Govt. The 10,323 teachers have been running without salary since Past 22 months.
Today, demanding Individual Termination Letter, the terminated teachers placed deputation to District Educational Office.
A terminated teacher Kamal Deb said, “By doing conspiracy the Education Department sent us home. For the past 22 months, we are not receiving a salary but we are not given a termination letter. Our salary is coming every month and the UDISE code is still continuing...”
“We have evidence.......among us few teachers who joined after qualifying TET exam, they are getting salary based on old UDISE code", replied Kamal Deb on being asked about the surety of crediting salary.
The teachers said that they will go for massive protests if their termination letter is not given.
