AGARTALA, January 1 (TIWN): State Tripura has better medical care with enough doctors and nurses and other medical staffs, therefore the people of the state do not need to move abroad for treatment, said Health Minister Badal Chowdhury today.
Health Minister Badal Choudhury while inaugurating the panel discussion program of Hepatitis foundation at agartala Rabindra Bhawan urged the doctors as well as other medical staffs of the state to play much better role in winning the heart of the people of the state as well as patients. He also urged the people of the state to keep faith and hope on the state doctors and medical staffs as they always come forward extending their helping hands.
Minister Badal Chowdhury also stressed on availability of the doctors and nurses here in the state. He said that now the state Tripura has become fully fledged with enough doctors, medical staffs, modernized health care facilities with laboratory and its technicians. Therefore the people of the state do not need to move abroad for treatment, said Chowdhury.
However during the program today a section of doctors along with other officials remained present, with the audience at the hall asking questions and sharing their opinions with them.
