After resignation from the MLA post and party, Sudip Barman said, “Democracy has been murdered in Tripura by the one-man regime. Press voices are suppressed, tortured. An OSD from other state write the news headline of newspapers”.

“Only a one-man system is functioning the entire administration and the Ministers, MLAs have no freedom. So, to revive the Democracy, we have taken the decision”, said Sudip Roy Barman.

Both the MLAs have left for Delhi and are most likely to join the Congress party.
