AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): West Agartala police today arrested two youths with brown sugar and a pistol from Cantonment Road in the capital. The names of the two arrested youths are Balram Sau and Jahidul Islam. Talking to media, Police officer Subarata Chakraborty said, “We have lodged a specific case under NDPS against the arrested youths and after interrogations, they will be produced before Court. Police will seek remand for further investigations. A sufficient quantity of Drugs and illegal Arms have been seized from them. The matter is under investigation”.
However, although police arrested the two youths, the masterminds and the gangster is out of reach. Tripura under the banner of "Nesha Mukt Tripura" is now gripped by illegal drug trades. .jpeg)
