AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Two youths were seriously injured in a road accident on the day of Saraswati Puja.

The injured have been identified as Bapon Das (19) and Ajay Das (20).

The incident took place on the national highway adjacent to Sekerkot Arkani under Amtali police station. It is learned that two youths Bapon Das and Ajay Das from Jogendranagar Adarsh ??Colony area were going to Bishalgarh from Agartala in a scooter to visit Pujo.

The scooter lost control at excessive speed and crashed into a road near Sekerkot Arkani. Both were seriously injured.

The locals later rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital.
