AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): Tripura BJP was voted to power in 2018 with lots of hopes after the party led by Union Govt made massive promises both in speeches and in written forms, but after 4 years all the promises are turning as ‘fake promises’ and ICAR dept employees at Group -D level are victims of such JUMLA pre-poll promises.
The ICAR Dept contractual staffs including gardeners, cleaning staff are in a strike for the last 9 days since they were said, that they belong to the contractor.
Talking to the media, an employee said, “For last 25 to 30 years, we are working for the department. When a person works under Govt, s/he hopes that one day they will be regularized. We will continue to protest unless our demands are fulfilled. We do not accept the department to be privatized and also we demand our regularization”.
However, such cheating with pre-poll fake promise has been complained by various sectors’ employees including NHM, SSA, 10323 whom BJP promised to make them permanent but no promise was kept.
