AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): After the budget was published, opposition parties slammed Modi Govt calling the budget visionless and anti-people. Tripura CPI-M too gave its reaction.
Talking to the media, Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Choudhury said, “Under the Modi Govt, no new factory was built. Earlier, the Rail Budget was published separately but now it has been merged with the main budget, depriving the people”.
“PM Modi has talked about 60 lakhs of work opportunity but under which sector it is not clear. There is a new scheme launched named PM Gati Shakti which means making National Highways, Railways and Airways with public money and then to sell them to Adani, Ambani and TATA. I am just hopeless about any outcome in people’s lives after the budget was published. It has nothing for farmers……budget was just a ‘tamasha’ and a ‘jumla”, said Jitendra Choudhury.
