AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): Man died in road mishap again. The incident took place near Sonamura near HP petrol pump on the main road from Sonamura to Melaghar under Sonamura police station.

Auto driver Tapan Sheel, aged about 40, was killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a car number TR072632 and a Wagner car.

The owner of Wagner's car fled to Dhaliai 7th ward under Sonamura Nagar Panchayat. The incident took place on Monday night. Hearing the loud noise, the people of the area came and witnessed the incident and informed the fire department and Sonamura police.

The deceased was brought to Sonamura Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
