AGARTALA, Jan 31(TIWN): Sonamura Police had information that a source has been working behind making counterfeit notes of Rs 2,000 in Sonamura. Based on the secret sources the Police led a search in Sonamura area and detained a man, employed under the DWS department.

Total Rs 40,000 counterfeit notes of Rs 2,000 were recovered from him and he is employed as Security Guard under DWS department.

Police registered a case against him and kept the criminal’s name hidden for investigation purposes.
