Agartala, January 1 (TIWN): Police week will be celebrated in Tripura from January 3 to 6. To celebrate the success of State police, several functions will be organized at Manoranjan Debbarma Memorial Stadium, A.D. nagar. To mark the occasion, a cultural event is going to be organized where welcome speech will be delivered by DGP. Chief Minister will also preside over the event where Chief Minister will inspect the parade contingent.
Police should focus on building up better coordination with the people. Moreover, fencing along the border is incomplete in some patches. In order to arrest the rising graph of road accidents, Traffic unit needs to devise and develop a trafficking system in the state.
Police should be more focused about their social responsibility. Crime against women had taken a worst turn, Police will have to tackle the menace cautiously.
