AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): While warming up with wood fire in the home, a woman was victimized in a fire accident.
The woman was referred to GB Hospital in critical condition. The incident took place in Putia area under Kalamchaura police station.
According to the details of the incident, when Hanufa Khatun set fire in woods in her house on Saturday night, her clothes caught fire from behind. His body was severely burnt.
After hearing her screams, the family members put out the fire and brought her to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. The doctor of Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital saw the deteriorating condition of the woman. After initial treatment the Doctor had referred her to GB Hospital. Hanufa Khatun is currently undergoing treatment at the burn unit of GB Hospital.
