AGARTALA, January 1 (TIWN): Governor of Tripura P. B Acharya would attend the North Eastern Council (NEC) meeting scheduled to be held in Shillong tomorrow, official sources said.

To attend  NEC meeting, the Governor left  state yesterday. After attending NEC meeting, Governor is scheduled to return on the following day January 3.

Due to NEC meeting, the Governor has cancelled two important programmes visit of Belonia and headquarters of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

Programmes at Khumulwng (ADC headquarters) and Belonia will be rescheduled after return of  Governor from Shillong’, mentioned an official of Raj Bhavan here today.
