AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): A woman resident of Dhaleshwar-11, Agartala rushed to East Agartala PS seeking justice for unbearable physical torture to her Grandson in Rehabilitation center.

Talking with the woman it is known her grandson was addicted to drugs and foreign liquor, and to get rid from the drug addiction the woman admitted her grandson, Basabjit Debnath to ‘New Jibon Jyoti Foundation Rehab center’ at Dukli in July end. When Basabjit returned home in Dec month, her grandmother noticed several deep Physical injuries on his body including on head. Later the woman came to know through newspapers and other various sources that unimaginable Physical inflicts have been done in the Rehab center.

Demanding justice, the woman filed case at East Agartala PS against the owner Dibyendu Das and In-charge Rabindradhan Chakma.

The woman also alleged Dibyen Das in the Rehab-center often took drugs and beat up the patient in an intoxicated state.
