AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): On the occasion of 50th Statehood Day celebration, Tripura Trinamool Steering Committee convener Subal Bhowmik lambasted the BJP Govt over the undemocratic environment created by BJP in this state.

“Today people are attacked, voting rights of people have been snatched and every day there are undemocratic activities, Govt’s action violating the constitutional rights in rising”, said Bhowmik.

“For long 25 years, Tripura suffered economically under the Communist Govt and now under the BJP Tripura is suffering more. To give a ‘Mukti’ from the tyranny, Trinamool has taken oath on the Statehood day”, added Subal Bhowmik.
