AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): Theft cases are increasing in the state and the Police are failing to control the increasing thefts incidents, resulting common people suffering massively. Amid the common people’s suffering due to increasing theft incidents, the Municipality Mayor too has not escaped from the paws of thieves.

Theft incidents occurred in Municipality Mayor’s office at Shankar Chowmuhani area.

Not only did theft incidents occur in mayor Deepak Majumder’s office, but thieves also looted money from Kali Mandir’s Donation box in Shankar Chowmuhani area.

The theft incident took place late last night. However, West PS Police rushed to the spot and started an investigation.

Where thieves with freedom looted the Mayor's office, then it could say the security of Common citizen is left nowhere.
