AGARTALA, Jan 20 (TIWN): Today TMSU with 9 points demand placed deputation to the Department of Transportation.
Confronting media a TMSU leader said, “After changing govt in 2018 under BJP-IPFT governance, the govt increased tax, the unemployed youth who are filling job forms, the rate of forms has increased, called Private organizations for taking interviews and in return collecting huge amounts of money. The rate of fertilizers has increased, which directly impact on Labours.”
"In leftist era Transport workers spent a good time but after the BJP-IPFT align Govt formed in 2018, the workers are facing tough situations, said the leader of TMSU over the price hike of petrol, diesel, and other machinery equipment. During COVID the Govt promised the transport workers will receive money in their bank account, said the leader before media but the JUMLA Govt failed to keep its own promise by providing money in their bank account as not a single worker received any amount in their bank account.Whenever the Transport workers raise voice against Govt’s unfulfilled promises then the Political attacks have been organizing on the Transport workers", said Amal Chakraborty, leader of TMSU.
Raising those issues with 9 points demands TMSU President Soumitra Chakraborty, Secretary Manik Saha, Vice-President Sankar Saha, and other leaders placed the deputation.
