AGARTALA, Jan 20 (TIWN): CPI-M’s workers’ wing TMSU has placed a deputation to the Transport Commissioner with various demands.

Their demands include :

1)The increased taxes on Transport services must be withdrawn,

2)Taxes on petrol, diesel have to be repelled,

3) Transport insurances’ interests would be decreased,

4) All transport workers must be brought under insurance,

5) Road-repairing,

6) Extortions should be stopped in motor-stands,

7) Minimum wage must be increased,

8) Illegally occupied TMSU offices have to be released,

9) Stop police harassment of the transport workers.
