FIR against Panchayat Secretary for Embezzling Rs. 15 Lakhs Fund

BELONIA (South Tripura), Jan 20 (TIWN): In a major fund embezzlement allegation, an FIR was lodged against Panchayat Secretary in a block under Hrishyamukh of Belonia sub-division.
Allegedly, the corruption held under Manirampur ADC Village and FIR was lodged against Panchayat Secretary Khagendra Reang.
No developmental works took place in the area except some MGNREGA works.
By this time, the Secretary take swallowed over Rs. 15 lakhs from PDG and 5th Finance Commission.
A committee was formed to check the matter and after embezzlement was suspected, a case was filed in Belonia PS with Case No-91/2021
