AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Reacting to the increasing Covid positivity rate in Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Sunday said, the State Govt has no plan to put a blanket restriction due to the economic interest along with livelihood issues of the common men. CM said, if Covid protocols are followed properly, then there is nothing to be panicked. “Overall the positivity rate is 13% in whole Tripura, whereas in AMC it is around 28.23%. But, nothing to fear if the protocols are maintained. Home isolation is enough for the infected people. Ofcourse, with serious health condition’s symptoms, patients must immediately inform the Health Officials”.
On being asked about lockdown plans, CM told the media that only night curfew will continue and in daytime Covid guidelines will be strictly maintained. He added the night curfew will continue.
