AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Sumit Datta, a local of Agartala Bhattapukur area near modern club was detained by Airport police after he sent a threat-mail to the Director General of Police, Airport Authority, CISF Dept.

In a mail, Sumit Datta threatened the officers that he will hijack a flight taking off from Agartala MBB Airport in the coming days.

Yesterday night, he was arrested and various Departments’ officers are questioning him. The interrogation is now underway.
