AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): One youth was stabbed by a sharp weapon by his 2 friends centering a petty issue at Baijalbari area under Khowai PS last night.

Reportedly, last night Dinesh Debbarma (26) was with his 2 friends Alin Debbarma and Sanju Debbarma but suddenly a quarrel occurred among them. Later Dinesh was stabbed in the back with a sharp weapon by his 2 friends Alin and Sanju.

After receiving the news of the incident, the family members took Dinesh to the local hospital and the doctor on duty referred him to Khowai Hospital from where he was referred to GB hospital. But in the end, that young man could not survive and fell into the lap of death.

A case will be launched against the two accused on behalf of the family of the deceased youth and it is known both the accused escaped.
