AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): Tripura Congress State President Birjit Sinha on Thursday has condemned Tripura CM Biplab Deb’s remark against the Punjab Govt. Addressing media, CM Biplab Deb on Wednesday targeted Punjab Govt saying "Punjab Govt planned to engage Khalistani terrorists to harm Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.Reacting to the statement Birjit Sinha said, “Thousands of guards, police were surrounding PM Modi. How can anyone kill him? Moreover, when the Supreme Court has formed a 4 members’ team to investigate, why is Biplab Deb saying rubbish? Anyone can stage a protest during the PM's visit and that only happened”.

“If anyone wants to become the Nation's leader, s/he must be tolerant. Farmers died during the protest. They have demands. The PM should review why the people are angry and must meet with their demands”, added Sinha.
