AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Newly appointed Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad, First Secretary (Local) MS Asaduzzaman, First Secretary Rezaul Haque Chowdhury, Swapan Kumar Bhattacharya writer on Liberation War of Bangladesh and Journalist were present at the discussion organised by Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala. Also Dr. Debabrata Debray, Amit Bhowmik and other staff of the embassy were present.

At the beginning of the programme, all prayed according to their respective religions, then laid wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait then the members delivered speech on how Bangabondhu, Seikh Mujibar Rahman had bravely led the liberation war sitting in jail and returned to the country. Newly appointed Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad spoke on various aspects of the life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Arif Mohammad also said that Bangabandhu had returned to the country on this great day and on this Holy Day he had taken charge of the Government High Commission in the state of Tripura.
