AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress State Convener Subal Bhowmik on Monday has expressed his shocks over BJP Central Minister Pratima Bhowmik’s visit and help to the family of brutally murdered Trinamool party leader Mujibar Islam Majumder. Subal Bhowmik said, “After killing a man mercilessly in broad daylight, the Govt is now showing humanity? Trinamool party is morally, financially giving all help to the devastated family of Mujibar Islam Majumder. His murderers are roaming freely but to close the matter, now the Govt is acting to be sympathetic. We are not criticizing the BJP Party but today we are criticizing the whole system, where after broad daylight killing, murderers are given free hands as no legal, police action is taken against them”.

“Today Mujibar Islam is with God. He can see the state. We have taken an oath to fulfill his dream which is to restore the peace in the state”, said Bhowmik while addressing in Mujibar Islam’s remembrance programme.  

Mujibar Islam Majumder was brutally beaten up by BJP goons on 28th August, 2021 and he never recovered, breathed his last on 5th January, 2022.
