AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN): Women College’s main gate located a transformer sparked out which triggered tension.

Immediately the Fire Brigade team was informed and they rushed to the spot. Electric Dept officials also reached the spot.

Locals alleged that such incidents have become regular as the Dept is not permanently fixing the problem. In this way, students’ lives are under severe threat.

Locals demanded the Department must fix the matter immediately as it’s a College area and also a heavily populated zone.
