AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): ‘All India Save Education Tripura Committee’ placed deputation to Education Department against State Govt's recently adopted decision of ‘Vidyajyoti’ Scheme, "Policy to regulate and encourage private participation in school education sector in Tripura" along with other decision. In Tripura total 4882 Primary , Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools are there and by taking 100 Schools under Vidyajyoti Scheme the ruling Govt deprives rural areas schools of getting proper Education. Opposing ruling Govt such decision, AISE Tripura Committee on 10 points demand placed deputation to Education Department.
The demands were raised-1. "Policy to regulate and encourage private participation in school education sector in Tripura" has to be withdrew
2. In the name of Vidyajyoti Scheme not only 100 schools, but all the schools in the state have to be developed by the government
3. Government schools of any kind should not be handed over to Private organisation or NGOs.
4. Despite the introduction of NCRT syllabus in the state, the transfer of government schools to the CBSE should be stopped by weakening the Tripura Central Board of Education.
5. All kinds of outsourcing should be stopped in government schools.
6. No contractual recruitment should be allowed in Govt schools
7. Necessary teachers and non-teaching staff should be appointed in 4272 schools of the state.
8. Education must be provided completely free.
9. Free health care should be provided to all students studying in government schools.
10. Teachers should be employed in all schools irrespective of urban and rural areas.
