Total 9 CPI-M leaders’ names were lodged in the FIR --- 1) Badal Chowdhury, 2)Manik Dey, 3) Narayan Kar, 4) Madhusudhan Das, 5) Shankar Prasad Datta, 6) Ratan Das, 7) Subashish Ganguli, 8) Rama Das, 9) Pabitra Kar.

All the accused persons have received bails.

Reacting to the incident, CPI-M leader Manik Dey said, “Such incidents and cases are not new. We have to continue protesting along with facing such vendetta cases from the Govt. Today not only oppositions but also journalists are facing many fake cases. This Govt has snatched the public freedom to speak”.
