AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers have announced to go in massive protest with a larger form of movement after January 15. Joint Movement Committee of the 10323 teachers member Dipankar Debbarma has told the media while addressing Khowai during the District level convention of the organization. The 10323 teachers who were terminated due to legal complications have not received any alternative job as the BJP led State Govt could not prove commitment to the terminated teachers. BJP before the 2018 Election promised 10323 teachers to solve their problems with a humanitarian angle and guaranteed to make a permanent solution to the teachers’ problems. So far the death toll of the 10323 teachers has risen to 121.
Many of the terminated teachers died by committing suicide, heart attacks, or lack of treatment.
The terminated teachers alleged they were illegally terminated by the Govt after misinterpreting the verdicts of the High Court and Supreme Court.
