AMBASSA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Joint Movement Committee of the 10323 teachers held a District level convention in Dhalai District. The convention was held at the TRTC hall of the Ambassa.
Hundreds of terminated teachers had participated in the convention.
Talking to the media, JMC leader Dipankar Debbarma said, the convention was held aiming to strengthen the JMC.
“10323 issue is a burning issue in the state as the Govt has not taken steps to solve our problems. Till date, the Director’s office has not issued any termination letter to us. 10323 teachers were terminated illegally”, said the JMC member.
Dipankar Debbarma also asked the State Govt to reveal the report of the investigation which started to find the culprit behind 10323 teachers’ matter.
JMC will start a larger movement after January 15.
