AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress (TMC) has organized a rally from Astabal Stadium to the Governor House with 15 points of demand.
The party raised the law and order issues and school privatization in their protest list.
Talking to the media, TMC Tripura Committee convener Subal Bhowmik said, “The state Tripura is reeling under anarchy. Law and Order have totally collapsed. The education system is now being privatized. Today children’s futures are bleak as the entire Education set up has been collapsed”.
“Unemployed youths are in great trouble. The state has seen how corruption had led to the TSR Job recruitment scam. The BJP party offices are being burnt by BJP youths themselves. Same troubles are being faced by Govt employees, whose 28% DA is pending. No hike was done to the MGNREGA wages”, Bhowmik added.
“People today are unable to cast vote in polls. Our workers are attacked every day. We have lost our leader Mujibar Islam in such a barbaric attack by the BJP”, Bhowmik told media.
