AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): PM Modi has inaugurated 2012’s UPA Govt funded project started under Left Govt in State. Amid Zero-Credibility of BJP Govt, BJP workers chanted ‘Modi, Modi’ when he was unveiling the completed project. Although BJP Kariyakartas had chanted Modi, Modi when the Prime Minister was inaugurating Agartala MBB Airport’s new terminal but it’s not a new project under the promised HIRA model and was cleared by the UPA Govt at Centre and the then Left Govt in State. From land acquisition to many other works were already completed under the Left Govt by 2017-18 just like Maitri Bridge at Sabroom project.
However, while inaugurating or delivering speeches no BJP leaders including PM Modi mentioned the Congress Govt’s credit in this project. Also, the rally failed to maintain social distancing, mask-wearing which forced students, Govt employees to remain present under the State Govt’s order.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi in Bengali and Kokborok greeted the people a Happy-New-Year.
“I am amazed to see your love. I will give you Double Vikas with the Double Engine on which you have trusted”, said Modi.
