AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Amid a massive spike of Covid Omicron cases, deaths, and daily reporting, BJP organized a mass rally which forced students, Govt employees to participate, and has failed to ensure Covid safety, minimum social distancing in Astabal stadium for PM Modi's rally. BJP activists were spotted mask-less and no attempt was taken by police to ensure all wear masks. No proper sanitization system was set up.

The program turned out to be totally political with BJP’s flags and banners, party workers’ presence but Biplab Deb Govt forced State Govt employees and College students to stay present on the occasion, where PM Modi has addressed a rally after the inauguration of UPA Govt led 2012’s Airport Project.

During Covid waves, previously Tripura hospitals suffered due to lack of Oxygen, mismanagement, total failure even to manage the dead bodies of Covid patients. In this condition, BJP’s unmasked, unsanitized rallies have raised concern over Covid spike chances.
