AGARTALA / JIRANIA, Jan 4 (TIWN): 35 years old man who was suffering from Alcohol-withdrawal symptoms died from consuming rubber acid.

Reportedly, Surajit Koloi (35) had quitted liquor at his wife’s request but he sought liquor from his wife last night as he was suffering due to a heavy urge for it. Then some arguments had generated between them. After a while, he consumed acid.

Immediately his family rushed him to the Khowai hospital. He was referred to GB hospital from there. But the GB hospital on-duty Doctor declared him dead. His family was devastated by his unexpected demise.

The incident took place at Khowai, Champahaur, when Surajit Koloi was at his in-law’s home.
