AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): BJP resigned MLA Ashis Das was in protest since past few days at Circuit house against the ‘Privatization of Education’ in Tripura. Asish Das was arrested yesterday from the Protest spot on 19th Day of their protest, centering PM Narendra Modi’s arrival today in Agartala to inaugurate Agartala Airport. Since he was arrested he has been under Police surveillance at his Quarter so that he could not join for protest further on Modi’s arrival day.

Centering the arrest Das said BJP is scared. Besides, he also said that he will fight till his last drop of blood against the ‘Privatization of Education.

"To repeal the anti-farm laws, around 700-750 farmers died across the country during the 14 months protest. Finally Narendra Modi to save his position repealed the anti-farm laws. Where to kill a person is a crime, then Modi should have been in Jail for killing 700-750 farmers. Like farm bill, one day Modi Govt will withdraw the decision of privatization of Tripura schools too", said Asish Das.
