AGARTALA, JAN 3 (TIWN): On a pathetic note, 99-year-old man is deprived of the least Social Allowance under CM Biplab Deb's "Sabka Sath, Sabka Bikash" regime. Such heart wrenching incident came under light when Manindra Das, a 99-year-old after loosing all hopes from the government, talked about his helplessness infront of media on Monday.
Reportedly, Manindra Das, a senior citizen of 99, after submitting all his documents to the department for several times was denied of getting social allowance. Without having no source of income, poor Manindra Das decided to beg infront of door to door for surviving his last few days on earth.
He even said that, he tried several times to meet CM Biplab Kumar Deb but was harassed by his security guards. The helpless senior citizen also said that he has a wife of almost same age at home and they are starving with no source of money to make their both ends meet.
