AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): A husband killed his wife brutally with a sharp weapon. The incident occurred in Kailashahar last night.

Reportedly, Amar Sinha, a resident of Tilakpur Ward-3 of Goldharpur gram Panchayat in Kailashahar subdivision of Unkoti district got married to Rajeshwari Sinha, a resident of Krishnanagar in Fatikara 18 years ago. But suddenly in the past year, an extreme family dispute started in their family.

Last evening, Amar Sinha's wife Rajeshwari Sinha visited her neighbor's home and while entering the home at 10 pm Amar Sinha organized deadly attack on Rajeshwari with a sharp weapon.

Local people of the area rushed to the spot after hearing the screams of Rajeshwari Sinha and took her to Unkoti District Hospital, Kailashahar, but she died at Hospital

The main accused Amar Sinha was arrested by the Kailashahar PS Police.
