AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Sunday in Agartala Town Hall while addressing on the occasion of 10th Biennial Conference organized by Tripura Agricultural Graduates Association said Tripura farmers’ income has increased from around 6,000 to over 11,000.
“I used to feel proud of myself as I am a resident of Tripura which was having a Govt for long 25 years. I thought 20 years-long experienced CM must have worked for the people. They (Communists) claimed themselves as Govt of the Poor people but when in 2015-16 the farmers’ income was at six thousand, Tripura’s farmer’s income now increased to over eleven thousand……..which is around double”, said Biplab Deb.
