MLA Asish Das who has recently joined Trinamool Congress was protesting against privatization at Circuit House, Gandhi Statue premise.

The MLA said, "I want to ask, could CM and Education Minister complete their Education, if the Education system was privatized? You people neither could complete Education nor could you become CM and Education Minister. In Tripura, 90% of students will be deprived of quality education if schools are privatized".
