AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): Miscreants have destroyed a betel garden of a poor farmer, which has devastated him.

The incident took place at Jalai Gram Panchayat, Ward No-6 in Kailashahar. This incident has generated heavy panic and resentment among the people.

The farmer has been identified as Nibras Ranjan Datta of Ward No-5. His farmland was at Ward No-6. He said, he managed the garden with lots of hard work and investments with debts.

However, ruling BJP leaders rushed to his home and assured justice.
