AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): 79% of the population in Tripura are fully covered by a double dose of the Covid-19 vaccines.

96% of the population have taken the first dose of the Covid-vaccine.

As per a report, the everyday eligible population is increasing in Tripura with the boys and girls turning 18+.

The report also said the vaccination rate for a single dose has been standstill at 96% for the last 3 months.

100% vaccination is never possible due to the reason for everyday new entries in the 18+ age. So, the State Health Department has targeted that at least 99% of the population should be vaccinated at the earliest.

The decision was taken with the fresh threat of Covid-19 spread.
