AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): The terminated 10,323 Teachers on Nov 10 seeking Termination letter and other legal queries had placed a memorandum to the Director at Shiksha Bhawan but the department failed to provide a positive response to the 10,323 teachers.
To know about the reason behind their termination and with some other legal queries, the JMC committee gathered to meet with the Director of Shiksha Bhawan.
Reportedly, the State Government in Assembly meeting decided to form an ‘Investigation Committee’ to investigate the 10,323 teacher’s issue. Accordingly, an Investigation report was submitted but even after the completion of 1 year the Investigation report is still not declared.
The terminated teachers sought termination letters if they were terminated legally, but the state Govt was unable to provide a legal and positive response to the teachers.
“In same Policy 2012 Science teachers were recruited and they are continuing their jobs. Then why did 10,323 teachers lose their jobs?”, asked the teachers.
