AGARTALA, December 29 (TIWN): With the fall in temperature, Tripura is under the grip of a viral fever and stomach problems, both in urban and rural habitations over the past few days.
According to a high level health department source, as many as hundreds of patients were admitted in different hospitals of the state so far.
The source further said that the health department had been organizing special medical camps in remote areas and distributed the basic medical aids to primary health centers while Asha workers were mobilized to spread basic health awareness among the villagers.
He, however, asserted that viral attacks were very common during this season and this year monsoon had withdrawn before the Durga puja and immediately temperature began dropping accompanied by flowing of northern cold wind.
