AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Resentment gripped Tripura Police Department officials as the State Govt moves to slash a part of the officials’ salaries.
Reportedly, in 2019 extra pay was given by mistake under ‘Special Compensatory Allowance’. Now to bring it under the balance, this decision has been taken.
Why this blunder happened, who did the blunder, nothing could be known.
It will cover police officials from constable post to sub-inspector level.
On average 7,000 will be deducted from the accounts of the police officials which covers a minimum of Rs. 3000 to over Rs. 9000.
This will hit 1 out of 4 percent of police officials.
