AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): Increasing drug trading in the city Agartala made the city terrific, raising questions on the safety of common people.
Reportedly, four drug sellers snatched a daily wager Raju Miah’s(26 years) Mobile Phone and cash Rs 630 from IGM premises last night.
Talking to the victim it is known he came for his personal work at IGM Chowmuhani, but suddenly the contraband item sellers asked him to give his belongings. When he refused, his Phone and cash were snatched, and also was beaten up brutally by Helmet.
The victim Raju also alleged before the media that the Police have information about the selling of contraband items but the Police pretend like they have no idea about it.
The injured Raju Mia was taken to IGM Hospital for treatment as he received injury on head.
Such kind of incident raises questions about the safety of common people in the capital city Agartala.
