AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): Amid much tensions about the privatization of Tripura schools, Education Dept Director Chandni Chandran has said annually students have to give only thousand rupees for school infrastructure development.

However, this will not cover exam fees and other programs.

It was also announced by the Director that the headmaster will have the authority to exempt some students from paying the fee based on their economic conditions.
