AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): Former CM Manik Sarkar while addressing a rally in Agartala today has said in a nation, the condition of the minority determines the condition of the nation.

Sarkar accused BJP, RSS’s undemocratic attitudes to the communities.

“By minority, I never mean only Muslims but it is true that after India’s partition, Muslims did not leave India as they felt better here but today minorities are not at peace. A nation’s situation can be checked through the condition of children, women, and minorities there and thus, it is important that minorities feel safe here”, said Sarkar.
